DELL, these guys just want so bad to be taken seriously.
Let's just go through a couple things here I find so hillarous:
For $150 you can upgrade your T7600 to a T7600G chip that is "unlocked" at DELL's site.Enterprise article:

The XPS M1710 Gaming Notebook with XPS LightFX features new lights, sure. But the major update is that it enables Dell enthusiasts to tune, or overclock, the system's Intel Core 2 Duo T7600G mobile processor.
The gamers pushed Dell to upgrade its power train: graphics and processing power, said Matt Jorgensen, product manager for Dell's Extreme Notebooks division.
KillerNotebooks has sold unlocked CPU's for months and every system comes standard with it. It isn't some "Holy Grail $150 upgrade DELL!" It is good to know they are raiding my posts at Tom's to get ideas. It didn't take them long either as I posted this about a month or so ago, then suddenly started getting emails about it, in my post I said, "Any notebook manufacturer that deals with gamers better have access to unloacked CPU's if they want to be able to satisfy their customers." But DELL says, "The gamers pushed DELL to do this." ROFL, what is a gamers channel to talk to anyone within DELL but a monkey?
DELL's wholey owned subsidiary Alienware comes out with their SLi system and call it the "Elite Assassin"
Unfortunately this is a month after the KillerNotebook Assassin has come out and a quick email gets the Elite Assassin droped and it is just, "m9700" remains. Ok, everyone's been to the K|N site, obviously the Assassin name fits into my juvenile marketing, but where did Alienware come up with it? Gee, I wonder.
KillerNotebooks extensive customization options decimate the competitions alternatives.
DELL is sending 15 notbook covers to the exact same shop I use to learn the customization process! LOL, guys, this isn't some big outfit in L.A. or New York or Chicago, this is in freaking Neenah, Wisconsin, and if you don't know where that is, the next time you go past a manhole cover on the street look down and see where it was made once.
Mikey, if you need a consultant then why don't you hire me and get the good ideas brah? With your back room deals with nVidia and Transcend as well as other component manufacturers I'm sure there is a lot that can be done to screw over your competition... That, or you can always be one step behind me.
