Freezing laptop

how do i stop my laptop from runing slower and freezing?

It is very common on laptops to have a faulty hard drive due to it being jolted when the power is on. You should test the hard drive by downloading the manufacturer of your hard drive diagnostic software from their web site. If the hard drive proves to be OK then the reason for the computer to freeze is likely to be due to software loaded on your computer. You can either remove as much unneeded software as possible or better yet reload the operating system.
