It's enough that when Len Zubkoff died a few years ago, there was speculation
about what happened to his Series Six mikes.

For the most part, the Josephson mikes have been handbuilt in very small
quantities over the years. Until the C42 came out, there wasn't any model
that was made in production quantities, so your chance of seeing a Series
Six on Ebay was about as great as seeing a Church mike.

The C42 hasn't been out for very long, by microphone standards, and while
a bunch of them have been sold there haven't been enough to make for a
serious aftermarket yet. And they sound very good, good enough that folks
aren't going to be selling them to upgrade.

Check on Gearslutz, I think there was a matched pair there a week or so ago.
They come up there from time to time. I bought an unmatched pair (but with
consecutive serial numbers) there a couple months ago.
