Maxtor 120Gb HDD

Hey.. basically I've stuck a new Maxtor ATA133, 120Gb drive into my system. Unfortunately, I can't find it in WinXP. Actually, that's not strictly true. I can find it in the Bios and in the Hardware Manager, but I can't make it appear in My Computer, and am basically unable to access it at all.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

You need to partition and format it first before you can use it. Go to <b><font color=red>Disk Management</b></font color=red> console (by typing <b>diskmgmt.msc</b> at <b>Run</b> command), select your new HD and create new partition.

Good or Bad have no meaning at all, depends on what your point of view is.
