Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that there is no way currently available to change the sampling or polling rate of a USB device. You can change the <A HREF="http://www.winguides.com/registry/display.php/1210/" target="_new">polling interval</A>, but that's not the same thing. Unless something changes, you are stuck with 125Hz. It's either that, or switch the mouse to the PS/2 port with an add-on connector, and use something like <A HREF="http://www.tweak3d.net/tweak/mouse/2.shtml" target="_new">PS2 Rate Plus</A> to boost the sampling rate to 200Hz. However, PS2 Rate may not work in Win2K or WinXP.
Note: If you are having problems with your USB mouse, the refresh rate is probably not the issue at fault.
