I want a decent gaming laptop under $1500 and I am currently looking at Asus and Alienware.

The Alienware is here: http://www.alienware.com/product_d [...] KU-DEFAULT

The alienware has a slightly faster processor, but the graphics card is 256mb. Also, I would not upgrade the Ram on the alienware, but I would buy my own Ram to stick in it. The alienware after a DVD burner, graphics card and ram upgrade will be about $1450.

The Asus is about $1400 after mail in rebates. The nvidia card is the same, but has 512 Ram instead of 256. Also, another asus im considering is the 15.4 inch screen, same specs same price.

Let me know what you guys think, or come up with some thing better! That's my challenge to you, thanks.

Since you mentioned a ASUS Ensemble in your first post, have you see the new A8JS with 512MB 7700 for only $100 more? It has a 14" screen also and the C2D. (2.0GHz, 1GB, 100GB 5400RPM, XP Pro) Asus also has a free 2 year warranty upgrade until 12/06. :)

I havent, but it looks good too. So many choices! Also, anyone have expeirience with PowerNotebooks? Specifically these: http://powernotebooks.com/product.php?itemId=1565
