I have completed a sample library and I will soon be shopping for
distributors. Does anyone out there have any experience with Big Fish
Audio, Best Service, AMG, East West, Etc.?
A few questions:
Did the deal go as you expected? Do/did they pay on time? Was the
contract straightforward? What is your cut? How many units have you
sold? Do you still own the copy write? Were/are you treated fairly?
I understand that you might not be able to get too specific. I just
thought I'd ask anyway. : )
Good questions, too bad no one is answering. I'm also curious about
how this works, as I've had numerous clients tell me I should put
together something similar, after having heard stuff I use for my own
projects.
what kind of $$ can be made from thhis? How many units do the major
sample lib distributors move?
