where are the damn settings!!

I own a soyo dragon ultra KT400 platinum mobo and one stick of 512MB corsair XMS2700LLPT. The new low latency stuff. I can only select timings of 2-2-3-6 1T. The stick is rated for 2-2-2-5 1T. Is it the ram or the mobo? I have run multiply diagnostics and benchmarks. I used that one memory tool that requirers you to reboot and then go DOS style with it, and I got 768MB/s and no corruption or errors. I am overclocking the whole setup, a 2500+ at 2.111GHz 169FSBx 12.5 multi, but the thing is my friend has the exact same setup as me and he can run his memory at the right timings. Wierd stuff. Any ideas you gurus?

If you dont even have the option to choose lower timming, then its your motherboard that doesnt support lower ones...Try to flash your Bios to the latest version might help. Now if you can slect the timmings but they wont run try raising you ram voltage to 1.70v or 1.75v
