5.1 drive on a audigy2

Hi
Does anyone know if a drive from a 5.1 platinum can be hooked up to a audigy 2 card? It looks the same as the drive that comes with the audigy 2 platinum except for the 1394 port.

I know it can be hooked to an Audigy 1 card, not sure on the Audigy 2, but I'd try it.
