I am interested in getting a DVD-R/RW drive for my computer. My question is that when a DVD-r says that it burns CD-R's (not DVD-R's) at a speed of 16x will that be equal to the burning speed of a CD-R/RW burnig at 16x. In other words, will it burn at 2400 KBps(CD-ROM 16x) or 22.4MBps (DVD-ROM 16x). Thanks for any help.

16X CD burning is 16 * 150KBps.
