Hey, guys. I do work with 3D animation, own Athlon XP 2500 and a ASUS 8X Deluxe Mother board. Soon I'll receive some money and I have about what to buy, 512mb RAM, 1024mb RAM or a RAID Board. Since my mother board support RAM dual channel, what do you suggest for best performance?

i would say memory...

3 386DX-25's...12 volts...glue some ln2 and a wicked amount of overclocking and you get a willamantee minus 36 pins, 33.75 million transistors and a couple hundred mhz...

thats true, but if buy 2 256Mb RAM modules I could buy better modules, with a highter FSB support...
My biggest doubt is how much is the difference between 512 to 1024 Mb in WinXP Pro?

well windows xp is very wasteful with memory so it would help beter than in any other os...raid would only speed up bootup and loading up a game...not speed up your framerates or make the windows environment seem faster..
