Very good article! I have had my fair share of hard drives going pear shaped on me before, and usually the clients that bring in the failing or failed system did not make any backups at all! The whole "it will not happen to me." scenario. I have a question how does the clonng software compare to for instance Norton Ghost? The other question that i have is, if the hard drive has gone out to the big pie in the sky, what software do you use to try to recover the client's data? i personally prefer the ontrack easy recovery programs! I know that there is a lot of software on the market today that you can do "go backs" etc. but here in SA software is very expensive and people realy do not whant to fork out a whole wadd of cash to have a 50% chance that it will work or will not work. I would also like to know where i can get hold of the Apricon range of products?
