Logic Audio 5 + OS9 + Edirol FA-101 = OK ?

For what it's worth, my friendly local dealer (who happens to have
very golden ears) checked out the Edirol Firewire interface when it
was first introduced, and he said it just didn't sound good. Since
this is the second round, they may have improved it.

Why not buy one while you still have your TASCAM interface, hook it
up, see if it works, and when you get it working, compare the sound
with what you have now. If you like it better, keep it. If you don't,
return it and buy something else. Any legitimate dealer will take
returns.
