iPOD Mini HD or RAM?

is this thing a hard drive or a simple stick of 4 gb memory?

If its a hard drive then it's alot easier for it to break down correct? especially the gyro effect going on when some one is moving it constantly cant be easy on the hard drive its self?

I thought the ipod mini was larger but oh well. It is probably a hard drive. Mp3 player hds are spinning so slowly movement really doesn't hurt it unless it takes a long drop or something.

Definately a hard drive.
You would not be able to afford a 40 GB (or 4 GB) stick(s) of RAM.
