I am trying to find a laptop for about $800-900 that is both dependable and can handle Source engine games at medium settings or higher smoothly. Is this possible? Please help me by giving me suggestions in choosing a trustworthy brand and a notebook that has sufficient performance to do this. Right now one of the only laptops I can find that may be able to do this is a Dell E1505 with a Core Duo 2050 (1.6GHz), 1GB (2x512 dual channel), and a Radeon X1400 256MB Hyper memory for a total of $808 shipped. Please give me any suggestions you have, thank you.

You may want to try the E1705/1710/9400 whatever they are calling it now. You can upgrade the video card later.
