First of all, i am not that well versed in windows NT server or the terms so please excuse my ignorance.
my PDC was having problems running and functioning(something about an empty pool), but that's not the problem i am concerned with right now. while my PDC was not doing anything usefull my BDC was not taking over correctly and the workstations could not find the proflies they needed when logging in.
after i got my PDC working again i ran an experiment. while the PDC was up i could see the BDC and the BDC was fucntioning in sever manager with the syncornization and all. but when i would shut the PDC down then the BDC wouldn't be able to do anything in server manager and wasn't distributing profiles. how can i fix this so my BDC will distrubute profiles wehn the PDC is down?
