Well I have some cash that I would like to spend on a new laptop , I know Vista is around the corner so do u think that it's worth the wait till DX10 video cards are released to Laptops ?
I've only seen estimates that parts MIGHT be available near late Q3.
I'm guessing they're still working on Power Consumption issues. Vista is coming so if you want to upgrade immediately and take advantage of it's DX10 support, you should ask again in about 4-6 months when actual release dates will hopefully be available. How many games will be available with DX10 support..full support? Is it worth a $400 OS and 500-700 GPU? I guess that's something to think about too.
Not to be rude or anything, but you are at least the third person, including me, to ask that. I got a response from KillerNotebooks he said:

I spoke to nVidia last week and teh 8800 is not on their roadmap to put in a mobile platform because of the power requirements and the heat it generates. They said maybe late summer they will announce 3 or 4 Q '07 something.
