How can i keep its temp down without buying aftermarket cooling systems? (in other words, using tuff from around the house).

My question to you is, when was the last time you cleaned it? I mean really well. This easiest solution would be to take apart the casing and use a compressed air can and spray the dust out. A lot of laptop overheats are caused by dust getting trapped int the exhaust ports. Other wise try wrapping. . . it. . . in. . .ice. .??? Although water + electricity = 8O
