Changed boot drive in BIOS not registering in Win 7 Tags: Configuration BIOS Boot Windows 7 Last response: July 20, 2012 4:13 PM in Windows 7 Share alng129 July 19, 2012 12:32:28 AM I changed the boot drive in the BIOS to a new drive. I thought it worked but when I check Disk Managment in Windows 7 it still shows the old drive as the boot drive. Is there something I have to do in Windows to finalize the change? The only thing that change does in the BIOS is the search order for the boot drive. It does not actually make a drive bootable. Can't find your answer ? Ask !
