Hi

I am using a 17" Samsung SyncMaster 793MB monitor.

Recently I have noticed that whenever I open the Start menu or a Window, the display seems to expand horizontally for a couple of millimetres. It again contracts horizontally when I close the menu / window.

If some windows are already open, and I open the Start menu, then the expansion / contraction is very negligible, but it still happens.

I have Win98, W2k Pro & Win XP Pro installed on this machine & the behaviour is noticeable on all these environments.

What could this be? Is there a problem with the monitor?
