Try a USB Memory Stick reader. PC interfaces to flash meadia are based on
standards.

1. Insert memory stick in Clie.
2. Turn on Clie. Go to "Clie Files" application (should be loaded in ROM).
3. At the bottom of the screen, select the memory stick (the right-hand icon
above the "Select" button).
4. Hit the menu button or tap near the top of the screen.
5. Under the "Tool" menu, click Format.
See what happens after that.

I don't believe i have to use a USB memory stick reader. Most people
can stick the MS in the clie without problem, i just got really
frustrated....
but if it doesn't work, I may have to get a MS reader.
Thanks for the suggestions..

Hi all-
I've tried all the suggestions, I did not use the data export, but
just good old drag and drop, and it still saying that the MS is not
formatted. I also formatted the MS via the clie, and tried drag and
drop after connecting clie to pc, and it's still giving me the samee
error message
I am using a sandisk MS Pro....wondered if that has anythign to do
with the Pro stick??
