The Catalyst Control Center has the option to change the frame buffer to 128MB from the default 64MB, but when I change it and restart, it goes right back to 64MB. What gives?

Further, I used ATI Tool to overclock my GPU to a maximum of 488MHZ before I get artifacts, so I set it to 450, which is still impressive, considering it runs at 300MHZ stock. However, It benchmarked 944 points on 3DMark 2003 at 300MHZ and only 988 points at 450MHZ. What gives?

My system is a Gateway MX6426
2.2 GHZ Turion 64 ML-40
1GB Ram
Radeon XPRESS 200M

Also, is there any way I can overclock the CPU/memory?
