Excellent review here http://www.esreality.com/?a=post&id=1265679

I'm used to the size and shape of the logitech mice. I use the G5 for the lappy and the G7 for the desktop. I hate, really hate, my Razor Copperhead (it has glitches like getting lost as a usb device).

A clanmate swears by his Habu (a joint venture between microsoft and razor)...

Thanks I was looking at the Logitech mice. Leaning toward their wireless. The G5 and G7 are the right size. The lappy ones are to small.

G7 is an amazing mouse, and I love it on my desktop. I don't think it would work well for a laptop though unless you primarily park yourself at a desk with it. If you actually use your lap, the charger for the batteries becomes very awkward. I am currently using my old mx518 with my laptop and it works (I can't stand minimice either).

I have the MX 518 and my brother has the G7. Both are excellent for gaming. The only real choice is wired or wireless?
Either are amazing at what they do.

I agree with the G7 best for desktop. The battery dies fairly fast. Good news is they give you 2. You can also just use the little usb dongle and only pull out the charger when needed.

But for a lappy, I prefer the cord. I also like the texture on the G5 (matte finish) better than the G7 (which is glossy smooth)..
