McAfee is not optimized for NTFS. Purchase Norton Virus Scan and you won't have any problem. McAfee Network Scan is the only software that works in NTFS. The average McAfee Virus Scan installed on NTFS is a BIG mistake. Don't do it!

i intalled the mcafee with dos mode on cd-rom. the pc will start from cd-rom and scan the HDD. but it can't identify the NTFS partition. so i think if i can use some tool softare to identify the ntfs and make the mcafee can scan the ntfs partition. thanks.
