Does someone know if this works for XP? My laptop does not have Parallel
port but
I could get replicator that has Parallel port if this works on XP. Otherwise
I could just sell
my Midi Flyer since no use.

thanks,
Jukka

Hi,

I am just wondering if you ever resovled this problem. I am currently trying to do the same thing.

Thank you

I just installed my midi flyer parallel on an XP SP2 machine. It was a desktop with parallel on the mother board.

I had to perform two driver installations - the first was the XP driver that allowed the OS to see the hardware (the only parallel xp driver on the MOTU site), and the second was the standard driver for this device. I got plenty of warnings from the OS that the drivers hadn't been certified for XP, but I forged on. Aldo, you have to read the readme's - there's one or two steps that are not intuitive - especially if you're not a driver geek.

This process took me a couple hours to figure out, but looking back it was very straight-forward and with my suggestions should take anyone else 15 minutes.
