IRSt preinstall drivers windows 7, irst in pc installtion help!

Hello, concerning Intel's IRST drivers and set up, I noticed people usually download and install stuff on the pc, and other driver's needed on a new build. Now what I want to ask you is this...

I recently downloaded current files from intel download center, they were latest versions of IRST,, but they were pre-install files, what is the difference between pre install and the usually IRST, versions that you used on the OS?

Anyway, I am about to reinstall windows again, and I downloaded two zips and unzipped them.

One says IRST (version) AHCI, the other says IRST (version) Raid. They both are pre-installation dirvers. What I want to know is during windows pre install do I load drivers for both, or only the one I a going to do? Do I need both the raid and AHCI one? or not.

See I have AHCI set up on my bios, but I only have one SSD do no raid capability atm, thinking on getting another though.

Then the question remains concerning the IRST you download and use on the PC... is it the same as the pre-install drivers or different? and where do I find a current version of that download, sort of confused because to me the stuff on my motherboads page seems out of date concerning irst.. and chipset drivers.. I have a ga-z68xp-ud3 revision 1.0.

I noticed newer files.... concerning irst, and chipset drivers so i only mean those.

can anyone help me out?
