Is it a normal humm of the drive motor and basically stays constant, or does it change and sometimes is worse than others, the latter can sometimes be caused by the CDs you're using, inspect your disks if thats the case for manufacturing burrs on the edges of the center hole, which would keep the disk from properly seating on the spindle, producing vibration at low and high RPMs.
