There should be a label on your Corsair memory, if it isn´t there, be suspicious! The programs I know will only tell you the speed and SPD of the module...

On the software side <A HREF="http://www.aida32.hu/aida-download.php?bit=32" target="_new">AIDA32</A> should show the part# in the Motherboard->SPD section.

That is a good choice or you can download the SPD reader in the FAQ at the top of the forum.

If both aren't helpful... post whatever marking on the chips and PCB you can find. We'll do the rest. But please do the other first. It is better than humans guessing.

Hi,

I've got 2x512mb pc2700 sticks, they are manufactured by Mitsubishi. The memory is m2s560d30atp.

Is Mitsubishi a good memory brand?

Thanks...

I think you either typed it in incorrectly or there are additional charaters on your chips. You probably have the Mitsubishi M2S56D30TP-75_0214 which are 256MB chips set up in a 32M x 8 chip layout.

<A HREF="http://www.mitsubishichips.com/data/datasheets/memory/mempdf/ds/M2S56D20.pdf" target="_new">Here is the link to the white papers for the M2S56D 20/30 TP chips.</A>

Mitsubishi moved it's DRAM businss into Elpida back in October of last year so it is harder to find documentation.

I hope this helps.

The best hit in windows would be msinfo32 but you should have the stickers on the ram with some id numbers. You could also call consair to confirm them too.
