I have one buggy version of windows installed on one of my hard drives and one clean version on the other. When both are plugged in it chooses the buggy version as the main drive and totally ignores the other one (ignores to the point that in bios it doesnt even register the good windows drive and doesnt show anywhere). How do I get the computer to recognize the good version of windows so I am able to boot from that drive but still have the other one available to open so I can save my files? Thanks for any help!

disconnect the buggy drive and boot only from the good one. go into the bios and set it properly to operate from that drive. after it boots normally to windows, install the other drive and you shouldn't have issues.
