Hey-

I am trying to start a "community" web site geared strictly towards the
review of various studio, stage, and other microphones. This web site
should be very useful because it will be honest opinions and not
someone trying to sell you something... although I WILL be advertisign
on the site. If you have strong opinions on any type of microphones...
post them here...

http://www.microphone-review.com/

Also note the web site is still under construction and more mics will
be added. If there are any mics that you think should absolutley be on
there... email to the webmaster listed on the bottom of the site.

THANKS

Thank you for the reply. Regarding the much sought after line of mic's
that Yamaha in the late 80's and early 90's, I can send you high
quality scans of an 8 page booklet produced by Yamaha which has all
the specs, polar plots, and photos if you want it.

Here's a list of a few other very popular models of microphones that I
think would be good for reviews:

Audio Technica: ATM-25
Beyer Dynamic: M-130, M-160, M-201-tg, M-260, M-69-tg, M-88-tg, MC-740
Crown: CM-700
Electrovoice: N/D-468, RE-20, RE-50, and the 635A
Sennheiser: MD-421, MD-431-II, MD-441, E-845, E-865

I hope this list is helpful to you. The site looks like it is off to a
very good start and will be a good resource. Let me know if you want
the Yamaha MZ series brochure or I can take pictures of the MZ mic's
that I own.

-Paul
