I am looking to buy a new laptop. It will be used as desktop replacement. It will be used for playing games mostly (WoW), listening to music, burning dvds, etc.

I would like the following:
Dual core 7200 minimum
512 mb video card
at least 100 gb 7200 rpm HD
2gb ram
dvd burner
15-17 inch screen

My budget is between $2,000 and $3,000
Any suggestions?
Thx

Killer Notebook's Executioner.

Executioner

If I had the money, it's what I would get. My budget maxes outat about 2000 so I'm probably sticking with a Dell Inspiron 9400

I'll second the EX for that money.

you really can't beat the workmanship and custom stuff they put into their laptops. you could escape with a dell Inspiron or xps for a little less, but you wouldn't be getting the laptop you get from killer notebooks.

I'm waiting for 10X. Plus when I get the $$$$. I'll most likely buy the EX. Unless K/N has something better than that. Without going to the 20" Assassin

Executioner for sure! I got mine in December and i'm loving it.
The performance will blow you away and the customer service is top notch.
It is worth the cost to get the best of both worlds.

Not that it hasn't been said enough already  but I highly reccomend a K|N Executioner as well. Had mine for a little while and it still amazes me. As far as DX10... As long as the new cards will fit in there (I have faith in Mark cramming them in somehow) I am planning on upgrading my Executioner from the 7950GTX when I can.
