Buyers remorse:
I just bought the AR290 on Friday for 2,700$
I found out it was imediatly discontinued and replaced by the new AR390 which came out today with Windows Vista.
Nothing like having the top of the line new computer for only 3 days before it is obsolite.
But thats not the problem. THe problem is that i bought the laptop for windows media center and it wont run without crashing.
I cant even get through the setup program without a complete crash.
This is a brand new computer with all updates for windows installed. What am I supposed to do? What can i check to see if i have a bad egg here?
Do you think i should return it?

Here is one error i get in Media center when playing a video:
"Some of the files nessisary to play video or raido are corrupt. Please restart the computer".
THen media center crashes With this error:
Applicaton has generated an exception that could not be handeled.
Process id = 0x13e8 (5096), Thread id=0xf60 (3936)
Then media center box pops up that says:
Media center crash report
generating crash report.
