I am looking for something that may or may not even exist. I'm looking for a
mod tracker that runs as a VST plugin. Does such a thing exist? Or even a
mod player that runs as a VST plugin would be great. If anyone knows of such
a thing, please let me know and point me in the right direction.

If there was ever any doubt, it has just been erased: I am officially
An Old Fart. 30 years in pro audio & I have no idea what a "mod
tracker" or a "mod player" is. Put me out to pasture, kids!

Unless he's talking about an envelope follower...

It's basically a digital music file format that holds the samples
inside the file, used in the late 80's and early 90s. It's pretty
lofi, but there was some pretty cool music done using it.

Kinda like an early version of Acid or other loop-based dance music.
