I know there are some places online that sell 1200 modules, but is it the same stuff that will be used on upcoming r659 based systems? if those modules are prepared to work in a four architechture, i can only imagine how much it might cost to get the RAM operating correctly, and god knows how much harder it will be to find "dummy" RAM for 1200RDRAM... I'm kinda counting on a new RDRAM1200 architechture to be realease synchronisly the R659 MBs, cause as it stands todays RDRAM modules can be overclocked only so far before meeting their threshold (633, 666MHz. somewhere around there)

Rambus, Sis, and their partners have been so quiet about the whole issue.. all i really know is what they told use last year! .. but i remain faithful. im running PC600 rdram in the computer im using now. stuff still strong. been waiting for a year to buy a new PC. been waiting on the R659. To me, its upsetting that the first thing you see when you type R659 into google is the antagonistic pootalk from anton shilov. Everyhthing he knows is the same 2002 stuff we all know. He may or may not have reasons, but the bottom line is is that its all speculation..

So wheres the optomistic speculation?
