i am planing on buying a audgiy 2 platinum but i wanted to know if it fits behind the door of a Thermaltake Xaser III, if not would you recommend an audgiy 2 platinum ex?

I have already dealt with this combination. The Audigy 2 will fit only in the top bay which the HardCano currently occupies. The Audigy 2 breakout box will remain further in the case than the hardcano did. In other words it will be flush with the devices below it.
A word of caution about the HardCano, it will only fit once two of the four screws holding the aluminum arms have been removed. Another word of warning, it does not fit well! I had to file the plastic arm down and shove it further into the case on the left side and also place electrical tape on the door so the leading edge would not scratch it.
