I have a Hitachi GD-7500 DVD-ROM. One day it stopped reading
multisession CD'S. It reads only the first session. If i put the same multisession CD in the plextor recorder 16/10/40 i can see all the contents. My OS is Windows 98SE. I installed Windows XP with SP1 in another hard disk. I have no problem with Windows XP, Hitachi reads properly the multisession CD. I uninstalled via drivers
( my motherboard is Asus A7v133-C), installed a different version, changed the jumpers of the dvd-rom and the recorder (master-slave) with no result. Very strange problem!!! Any help?

When i insert an audio CD ialthough i can see the songs with windows exlorer, when i try to play it with cd player i get the message "no disc iserted" and with media player "the format is not supported". Winamp also can't play the songs.
