That's one beast of a laptop I will never be able to afford. I would like to hear news about single GPU DX10 laptops, so if you hear anything let me know.

Could of sworn I posted a reply to this this morning. In fact, now that I go to quote that article again, I know I did... weird

Why would you run your arguably, "flagship" product line on a 7950 GTX if it could take an 8800? Probably because they don't have a working 8800 mobile GPU. Sure sounds good in hype though.
