I have a freebee pass here for the Vacuum Tube Valley audio expo and
swap meet in Los Angeles (actually Arcadia), November 19-20. It looks
like a fun event, but because I hate Los Angeles, I'll give the ticket
up to the first person to e-mail me their address.

But Arcadia isn't really LA. It's similar to any suburb of any city in
the country. You could fly into Ontario (cheap, and not even close to
the city) and never get even a glimpse of LA at all.

When I used to go to that area regularly, I flew Jet Blue into Long
Beach. I actually like that area. If anyone has a practically new
house around there that's at least 2500 square feet, on half an acre,
with no lawn to mow, and costs less than $750,000, I'll take it.
Yeah I keep shopping. Don't worry, Bobby, it's not likely that I'll be
a neighbor, ever.
