Anybody using this device?

It looks very promising to me - and googling for "oki
5200n problems" didn't bring up any links (which is good :)...

For Info, I bought this printer a few days ago in Aachen.
In the shop they went to get it and 2 people came
with a huge and heavy box.

At home I unpacked it - lots of papers & plastic-tape
hidden everywhere in the device (there is even an extra
manual on how to remove all of them) .
One warning in the fuser-unit there is a little yellow
plastic thing, which _has_ to be removed (if you don't
the left side of the print is perfect, the right side
is on big stain of toner - took me 100 pages before I figured it out).

After connecting it to my switch the pc-software didn't
automatically find the device. I modified some settings
in the printer (subnet, ip) and within a few minutes
the computer detected the device on the ip I specified
and it was running.

Furthermore this printer is perfect, good print-quality,
also in color. Nice contrasts (I compared it with the
laserprinter at work, an older HP model) and I love it.
The prints have this little gloss (shiny) think which
the printer at work doesn't do and I think it looks great.

Printing (also in color) is really fast, it spits out
the pages qucikly after each other.
The 4 tones units are also fixed in place, ie they don't
move and what doesn't move, doesn't break.

Definately a good buy for the money. I would never go
back to inkject-printers.
