Hey guys. I went out and bought the Epox 8RDA and Barton 2500. Only memory I could find in this country was Locally produced or some Apacer sticks. Got 2 PC3200 256Mb running dual. Anybody had experience on these sticks??? I couldn't even trace the part-number. I could find out it uses Samsung chips. And the p/n seems supplier generated. Their website says little.

samsung makes high quality chips...however they need to be burned in before they start to really overclock...

download memtest and loop test number 5 for about 5 or more loops...that should get your ram into shape...

Is Kingston better than Apacer on OC'ing & quality.
I'm talking about the ValueRAM.

Hard to say.Kingston Valueram also sometimes use the Samsung chips, but sometimes infineon`s.So sometimes easy to OC,and the other difficult.

Thanks guys. We only have about 2 choices of ram in this country. Apacer and Kaliba. Kaliba is locally made. Like soldering simm memmory chips to a DDR module. Superfast 60ns!!! That and Transcend, but at double the price.

Oh come on Neveroldmilk. Sarcasm. Sense of humor.

60ns. (Nanoseconds) That was the days before DDR. Before SDRam. Simms. Not the game. Like in 72pins. (or 70 pins, always get confused)

Oh well. 3DMark2001 score sits at 7883. Default settings. No overclocking yet. And that with a GeForce 3. All standard drivers as well. Suffering from to much of a hangover to even try configure anything. (Must say I did run 3DMark 2003. Got a blazing 745 points!!! [sarcasm again, guys!]Who can beat that? Looks like the GeForce 3 really takes a knock with DX9 stuff)

Thanks for the help.
