I have a stupid question for you guys... is there an easy way to open a
cooledit(adobe audition) project in nuendo?

I am otherwise faced with cooledit sessions with tracks which start at
irregular intervals - drums start first, then the guitar track (after a
blank section) starts... is there a conversion/import process that
would make this easier?

Thanks very much

The best way would be to export each track as a single file. That way you
would end up with a whole bunch of files that start at the same place an
which can be easily imported into another program. Use the Mixdown feature
to do this.

Alternatively, take a look at Rail Rogut's EDL Convert software.

Cheers.

James.
