Dual Channel?

This may sound stupid, but I bought 1 GB of corsair twinx PC3200 C2, and when I turn on the pc it says that the memory is running in "single channel:, how do I change it to "dual Channel" for better performance? . BTW, my MB is an Asus p4p800 de;uxe, and i checked the bios for something related to dual channel, but i cant find it :S .

More about dual channel
  1. You have to have the memory mounted in specific slots to enable dual channel mode, try moving the second DIMM to the next slot over and see if it works, or look for more information in the manual.

  2. Remember to put the mems in the same colors slots.
  3. you dont need to put them in the same couloured slots to get Dual Channel, you need to put one stick in slot one and the other in slot 3. switch it on and see!
