Multi tasking laptop

Hello,
I am looking for the best multi tasking laptop I can get for under $900.00. Will not be using for gaming but will use for editing photos and videos. Otherwise mostly web searching, email and word poccessing. will be my primary machine so a screen of 15.6 would be ideal. mobility not much of an issue. thanks for any recommendations.
