In windowsMe, Explorer (not my computer) opens to my documents and not the c:\ drive. I know there is a way to change this so it opens to the C:\ drive but I forget the exact command line.

Can anyone refresh my memory?

Right click on my computer, select Explore, select yer C.
If you want just to open C: then in the Run window type C:
It will not give you the explorer, but will open C: drive.
Have no idea any else.

its not too late yet...

Nope that is not it.

If you right mouse click on the explorer icon, in the properties, you can see the path to the app. There is a way to change the path to get it to open with the C:\ instead of my computer or my documents.

Come on, somebody must know.

Yeah, it's so simple, you'll hit yourself.
Change the path to "C:\windows\explorer.scf c:\"

I found it myself.
change the path to this and it will open directly to the C:

C:\WINDOWS\EXPLORER.EXE /N , /E , C:

Include all the spaces and commas.
