I just want to know if a AHA-2940 s76 adaptec controller card is compatible with a 50.0GB ST150176LC, Ultra 2 SCSI SCA 80 PIN 8.2ms 7200rpm 1024K

SCSI is backwards compatable, all you need is an adapter card to convert the cable signals. The adapters usually cost $8-16.

80-pin drives are simply normal drives that are configured to work in a hot swapable drive rack. The drive rack assigns SCSI ID and power pins. An SCA to 64 pin adapter is available for systems not using such drive racks.
