When i use the Bt to download stuff, after like few min, i

got a error message, said: System lack memory....etc, and

my computer restart it self. But if i use BT to download on

my sister's computer, its all good, nothing happen.

Here are my 2 computer setup

Mine:
CPU: 2.6
MB: Asus P8P800 Deluxe (Dual Channel)
Memory: 2 Samsung 256MB PC-3200 DDR400 SDRAM (512 Total)
Windows 2000

My sister:
CPU: P4 1.5
MB: Asus P4B533 (No Dual Channel)
Memory: 2 KingMax 256MB PC-133 (512 Total)
Windows 2000

I asked some of my friends, some said, its my Memory

problem, better change to OCZ Memory KIT. Some said, cause

of the Dual channel.

PS:OCZ DDR KIT, which is very pricy, I just upgrade my

computer last month, dont have extra cash for the OCZ KIT).

Please tell me what to do

thax for your advices!

:)

Well, I certainly don't have the same problem! (but then, I don't use BitTorrent :)

Some suggestions:

- test your memory (memtest86, benchmark software like Sisoft Sandra). If this produces errors: there you are.

- if not: check viruses and ad-ware.

- If not: its a software problem. Download the most recent drivers - especially for your NIC and BitTorrent. Maybe you could do a clean install of your OS on a spare disk.

- Check the BitTorrent website, read the FAQ, post a problem, talk, etc.

BT, and hehe again, the error message still come out and my computer also restart itself!

Finally, i would say, thax for everyone read my post, and i guess its probably is my ram problem, i guess i will save some cash from now on, and get a OCZ DDR KIT!
