Corsair-HyperX-GeIL

I'm looking for 1 GB ram pair pc2700 for dual channel running at lowest timing and latency. 2-5-2-2 1T and im seeing prices of ~210 for a pair of either Kingston HyperX or GeIL ULD. and a price jump up to 280 for Corsair TwinXMS LL. Does corsair have something special besides their reputation? Also, is the GeIL pair im seeing actually pc2700 or is it tested at pc3200 and supposedly can be clocked at fastest settings at pc2700... I'll pay the extra 70 bucks if the benefits are there..but im not payin that just for the name even though it's corsair.

never go cheap on RAM...1600+(asus kt266a) with corsair/infineon PC2100 2-5-2-2 1T eats a 2000+(asus kt333) with value select PC2700

Looks like your using it for Amd? I bought HyperX for my P4. Corsair was to much money when I bought. IF it was $30 I would have gone with them but!!! $50+ to much per stick.

I dont think the 50$ is justified tough. I had good experience with geil and hyperX is really good too...

haven't really used any of the three.
I have kingston valueRAM on my pc.
