I have had this card for almost year and have had many problems.

1. Only the drivers that came on the CD seem to work right. Every upgrade has caused major issues with crackle and problems with microphones

2. The headphone jack seems to have an internal problem, I need to press down on the plug to get sound. Also the volume knobs create statik when turned

The card does sound awesome and has nice features. My problem is I dont have my sales slip and Hercules will not help me. Also they shut down the customer support forums (there were many others with similar problems) and it appears no one is carrying the product, which makes me wonder if they are discontinuing it.

Does any one else have this problem or heard if they a killing the product. I also wonder how hard would it be to replace the phone jack.

I have the GTXP 7.1 and have none of the problems you list, aside from the driver issue. Where are you getting them from? Not from windows update, I hope. Those drivers are known to be incompatible with the GTXP.

Hercules won't help. I've gotten support from them on a few minor issues, and have had no problems. I'm kind of surprised, actually. Replacing internal parts on the unit, though, would be quite difficult.
