I am a little bit curious about groups on DVD-Audio.
According to the DVD-Audio specification, I don't see any restrictions
on placing tracks with different audio properties within the same
group, e.g. tracks with different sample frequencies in the same group.
Is there a general consensus, or recommendation, on how to deploy
tracks on a DVD-Audio when it comes to groups?

What's in the spec is not necessarily reality. Although you can change
the bit depth within a group on most apps (for bandwidth issues), you
can't change the sample rate even though it's within the spec.
Different sample rates are reserved for different groups.
The majority of the time all tracks are re-sampeled, up-sampled, etc. so
that that they're all the same within a group. Makes authoring easier,
easier on the player, etc.
