There is no global consortium on collecting IMEI numbers and using it to track stolen phones. The BEST thing you can try is to call your cellular provider, and tell them your IMEI on your stolen phone (they may already have that information) and ask them if they can BLOCK activation of that phone under any one else's account and inform you if it shows up in their system. NOT A LOT OF CARRIERS WILL DO THIS FOR YOU. You should try anyway.
